#10 | October and November 2014 Updates

Hello. Its been far too long since I have blogged. The only time I can settle down with my thoughts are late at night when the world is busy dreaming, and I'm busy gathering my thoughts and to string them into sentences or doing other things that make me happy.

Finally done with most of my work today, school is coming to an end soon. At 2 ends ot the emotion stick of jumping for joy yet filled with sorrow. I never once hated school, just the curriculum. But I guess without the curriculum, I would have never learnt so much stuff, I'm really glad I chose Marketing, and i glad I enjoy learning to satisfy this very curious mind of mine.

So back to the agenda, hoping to share bits of last quarter of 2014 with y'all, which is so overdue. Oh oh! Exciting news! I've managed to get my hands on Final Cut Pro X! And I'm so stoked to create new videos with that over imovie (quite restrictive with editing.) Also, hoping and planning to get my hands on a good camera this year (think investment, hehe) for photo taking and vlogging. Some hobbies are expensive right?

O C T - N O V 14:

1. Internship happened 
I am so glad to have self secured my internship, cause I would be doing it alone and start a fresh, I always feel better when I do things alone, especially when I'm being adventurous. (Maybe I just have not found someone I want to do adventures with.. yet. haha)

My colleagues were all very big hearted people that were so loving and friendly, I had a hard time leaving the office without feeling sad. The word internship sounds pretty depressing, hints "cheap labour". But with all honesty, no amount of money could have got me such luck and great experience. Though I felt that I did not learn as much "theory" things, but I have gained much more than I have expected. Great friends and better understanding of human relations and communications. So if any of my ex-colleagues are reading this, THANK YOU so much! Especially my supervisor, Joanna, my sweet angel, Sykin, everyone's Mama, Magdalene, the very caring Edd and Stella and Eva, along side with Khaleeda, Pat, Kat, Wee Yen, Wen Shing and Chris! Last but not least, my cousin Cheryl who introduced me to the job, maj love. ❤ 

When I was first starting out, could not wait for lunch cause I was always so hungry!! Fat die me.

#7 | September Updates

Hey lovelies, Sept have been a crazy good month for me since I've embarked on my short 3 months internship. I swear work life is more draining than it seems. I rather be back in school. Haha

So despite having only the weekends and a week of break before I became an O.L, I did have fun and had plans. Quite a few things happened too. As usual  Imma quit blabbering and let the pics talk, enjoy:

1. Eat Play Love Cafe with my #CheapoBuddies
If you wanna hear an honest review, I don't feel like I had a very good experience there, in terms of service and food. The ambiance is great as you can see from the picture, very artsy, (Its filtered thats why it looks bright. Its much darker in real life) Its an art and craft place ideal for small children. Its great as they sell a lot of old school sweets and knick knacks.

We pretty much ordered one from different category, May had western, How Min had the soupy tom yam noodle soup? , Wen Wei had the smores waffle and I had the olive rice with egg. Though the food is still like so-so/acceptable, the milk tea was the worst. It tasted like it was completely instant thai milk tea. They would have at least stirred the drink properly before serving.. Another one of those average cafe with mediocre food that depended on their ambiance I guess.

#5 | August Updates

Hey lovelies, have not been consistent in my posting but at least I'm posting once a month right? I'm currently on study break (Almost feels like holiday) and got some time on my hands and decided to do a post on what I've been up to.

So there are a few things I'm busy with, some of which are preparation for my cousin's wedding and my videos. I'm trying to catch up with my loved ones by hanging out more with them and also make more videos or rather do more things that I love. And there's also work and studies.. My internship is coming up in mid September and I hope that I would have an enriching and pleasant 3 months working.

#4 | June Update

Hey lovelies! We are well into July now, so to prevent my blog from being so dead I thought why not do a quick update.

So I recently came back from Turkey in June, and I have also created a YouTube channel because I realised how much I love video editing and just being able to share my creation with everyone. :)
My channel name is Singing Spikes  and so far I have uploaded 3 out of 4 parts of my vlogs. The 4th one should be able to be uploaded by this weekends!

I'm somehow unable to upload here, I think its because the file is too big.. But do pop by my channel if you like to and give comments on how I can further improve my videos next time and what you like or don't like? So that I can have more constructive opinions to make better videos.

#2 | Month of May as it is

Hello lovelies, May is coming to a near end and its been pretty good for me so far.
I cant wait to be travelling to Turkey next month (Which I will try vlogging and blogging about-Will post about Bali trip soon, this is becoming my travelog blog. Haha) and all the more can't wait for exams to be over!

For the month of May I did many things and I'm proud of myself to say that I have pretty much balanced all 3 key things of a student's life. (Studies, social life and sleep) That was one of the target that I set for myself in the month of May.
